Video Mapping
Video Mapping, also known as Projection Plotting, allows us to conform the geometry of one or more compositions, as projected from a single video projector, to the geometry of varying projection surfaces. This technique is all about the customization of creative video for site specific installation. The result is inherently custom, and the work flow is easily scalable.
Video Mapping at Doug Fir
We produced two video mapping installations at the Doug Fir in Portland, utilizing new digital projectors from our friends at InFocus. In the installation was featured on the cover of October's Installation Europe magazine.
Video Mapping on Domes
In early October we visited the Dome Guys in Ashland, OR and produced a Video Mapping demo inside one of their Geodesic Domes.
