Moved to Portland in 2001, founding the Miles Ahead Agency, an event marketing firm contracted by Willamette Week, Monqui Presents & Bonnaroo Music Festival; all the while continuing to produce large-scale media installations with Andrew Smith, for corporate events & parties in New Orleans. Post-Katrina, Smith and the NOLA studio re-located to Portland, Joe Lesher came over from Willamette Week, and Spitball Media was born. Between painting sets and memorizing lines he realized that he wanted to work in the entertainment biz. For the next 10 years he trained as a dancer until an injury forced him into early retirement. While in the hospital he picked up a computer and starting making videos. Jesse's favorite dancers are Anna Pavlova, Patrick Swayze and Rudolf Nueryev. |
